About me

I am an experienced and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working in private practice in Surbiton and Guildford. I also currently work at the Priory, Woking. Amongst other things, I have worked with clients who suffer with addictions, anxiety and depression, fertility issues/miscarriage, abuse, and relationship breakdowns.

INDIVIDUALS

The way I work integrates three different approaches:

  • Person-centred: Here we work on how you see your self, your life and your experiences in the present and day to day life.

  • Psychodynamic: This is where we may look at your past experiences and repetitive patterns that seem to continually affect your life.

  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Focusing on your thoughts, emotions, physical feelings and actions, and how they affect one another.

You choose how we work- we can work on a short or a long term basis depending on your preference.

COUPLES

If you are a couple and you feel you are at breaking point, I can help identify barriers to communication and begin to implement strategies for change in your relationship. Together we can work towards creating a happier and healthier relationship, or to help you decide to end the relationship in as amicable way as possible.
